Physio Logic Ltd is committed to providing every patient with an ethical, and consistently high standard of quality healthcare. We value the importance of providing you with knowledge and understanding of your problem to ensure you feel comfortable in the management of your condition following treatment.

What does a Physiotherapist do?

A Chartered Physiotherapist treats injury and disease by correcting and improving the body’s own natural healing mechanisms, without the use of drugs or medication unless prescribed by a doctor.

Only members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (known as Chartered Physiotherapists and having the designatory letters MCSP after their names) who are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council have undergone the required training and passed the necessary examinations to enable them to practice.

All practitioners working at Physio Logic Ltd are fully qualified Chartered Physiotherapists registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.

MANIPULATIVE PROCEDURES
PASSIVE STRETCHING TECHNIQUES
TRACTION manual and mechanical

A number of other methods include

HEAT & ICE THERAPY
BOBATH TECHNIQUES (for neurology patients)

How long is the treatment?

There is no time constraint placed on your physiotherapy session. This allows your physiotherapist to undertake a full detailed assessment of your condition, provide you with an explanation of your problem and give you the treatment required, as well as giving you advice so that you can help take care of your problem after leaving the clinic.

Your Physiotherapist will also advise you on any necessary EXERCISE REHABILITATION including:

POWER PLATE TRAINING THERAPEUTIC PILATES PHYSIOTEC EXERCISES

Your Physiotherapist can also advise you on other forms of treatment such as Osteopathy, Podiatry, Chiropody, and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Sports Injuries

Sports Injuries

Do you treat sports injuries?

We have vast experience in treating sports injuries. Many acute injuries to joints, muscles, tendons and ligaments are accompanied by bleeding, swelling, and pain.

In these cases treatment should be immediate to reduce the symptoms to a minimum so that healing can take place as soon as possible. The physiotherapist can help you regain full function of the injured part.

You will also be advised on the prevention of injury. When in doubt, always seek the advice of a Chartered Physiotherapist, who will help you to return to your sport as quickly as possible.

Neurology & Chest Clinic

Neurology and ChestA physiotherapist specialising in neurology and respiratory conditions is available to treat patients who, on discharge from hospital, wish to continue with their rehabilitation at home.

Patients can either be treated at the clinic or, if access is restricted, then the physiotherapist is happy to make home visits.

Treatment can be on a ‘one-off’ basis whereby the physiotherapist will assess, treat and advise the patient and their relatives on the rehabilitation they should continue with, or on a more regular basis, depending on the patient’s requirements.

Can anyone attend for Physiotherapy?
