*Re-Opening Date – Monday 6th July 2020*

** Following an update in the Coronavirus guidelines we are pleased to announce we have a provisional date of Monday 6th July 2020 for re-opening the clinic.**

We have been really busy during lockdown re-painting the clinic inside and out and have put in place all the necessary requirements to ensure the clinic can re-open in July.

We will be following the guidelines from Government, NHS England, the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and PhysioFirst to ensure all our patients and staff and their families remain safe and well and free from the risk of Coronavirus.

To ensure this happens we will be abiding by social distancing guidelines in the clinic including the reception and waiting areas and have added posters and floor signs to help. We have additional screening on our reception counter and already have gel hand sanitisers throughout the practice. Our staff will be wearing the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including aprons, gloves, masks and visors. All areas of the clinic will be continually sanitised between patients using appropriate disinfectant and if necessary UVC light.

To help keep our clinic safe for everyone we must ask anyone visiting the practice to only attend if they have no Coronavirus symptoms. We will also require all patients to complete a Covid-19 Triage and Consent Form. As this will take up some of your consultation time we can avoid this by asking you to complete the form online within 2 days of your appointment date by following this link:

Should you have symptoms such as a high temperature, new or continuous cough, loss of taste or smell please ring us immediately to rearrange your appointment and isolate at home for 14 days. You can find further details on Coronavirus symptoms and what to do on the NHS website:

We would also like to ask everyone attending the practice to wear their own face mask (and a clear visor if you have one).

We would really appreciate you using the hand gel sanitiser on entering the premises and ensuring you maintain the 2 metre social distancing in the reception and waiting areas.

Whilst we do have a waiting area we are restricting the number of people using the chairs so would be extremely grateful if family members do not wait with you. In circumstances where a family member is needed we would be able to accommodate them but as you can appreciate we would like to avoid this wherever possible to allow us to keep the number of people within the practice to a minimum at any one time.
